Clients work with one instructor on mat and all equipment. Progressions and modifications are specific to the client’s needs and abilities, making this the best method for practicing Pilates.

duets/trios

Two/three clients will work with one instructor and exercise on mat and apparatus (Reformer, Chair, Cadillac, Tower). Studio staff will work with clients to find partners of similar level, ensuring the most effective and enjoyable Pilates workout.

Beginner Mat (maximum 5)

A beginner level class conducted on mat (or mat with tower), where the basic principles of Pilates will be reinforced, working slowly and precisely to build core strength and flexibility. It is also suitable for advanced clients who want to work more deeply on the core repertoire.

Beginner/Intermediate and Intermediate Mat/Tower Class (maximum 5)

Classes for those who have understood the principles and core repertoire from the introductory classes or private instruction. Instructors will give modifications and progressions; however, an understanding of the basic repertoire and terms will be assumed and a moderate pace will be maintained.

Intermediate/Advanced Mat/Tower Or
Intermediate/Advanced Reformer Duets and Trios
(maximum 5)

Higher level, fast-paced classes on mat and/or apparatus, where progressions for greater strength and increased mental challenge will be incorporated regularly. Knowledge of the exercise terminology and an ability to set up equipment for exercises will be assumed. We will readily create advanced classes as advanced students present themselves to us.

Pilates for Parkinson’s Disease

Clients will explore greater range of motion, work on core stability and balance, increase core strength, stamina and coordination. Classes are held at off-peak hours, have a higher client-teacher ratio than other classes and a maximum participation of 5.

Active Isolated Stretching

We offer private sessions and duets in the Active Isolated Stretching technique - priced as Pilates sessions. They may be done independently or integrated into your Pilates body-conditioning program. Create a group class with your friends, cycling or running group at the same rates as our Pilates class sessions.

Pilates Jumpboard Trios

A heart-pumping class on the reformer that builds strength & endurance and burns calories. The class combines jumping with arm-strengthening and core-strengthening exercises from the Pilates repertoire. Flow is brisk and Pilates experience is required.

Modified Pilates to enhance your health and fitness during and after pregnancy, improving posture, balance, strength and coordination.

Pilates for Athletes

Advanced sessions and workshops for high-performance individuals, to balance muscle-specific sports such as rowing, racket sports, golf, cycling, surfing, running.
